The key factors for positive life transformation are self-love, submission, commitment and a large amount of drive.
Nothing is like having a divine connection with God. Pray in your way at any time. Stand on no formality. Do not be ashamed to pray. If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us (1 John 5:14). Whatever you are going through you can always call on the name of Jesus. God answers prayers that are in agreement with His will. His answers are not always yes, but are always in our best interest. When our desires line up with His will, we will come to understand that in time. It will illumine you, heal you, prosper you, and bring you into such peace and joy as you have never known. See what the power of prayer can do for you. God does just what He promises, and in so doing His name is glorified.
Reminder: Prayer is simply a direct connection talking to God.
I cannot tell you how reading the WORD is so important. To have an intimate moment with God we must stay in His Word and meditate day and night (Psalms 1:2). The Bible is a book of love to us. Reading the Bible shows us God’s character by teaching us to imitate Him. Teaching us how to love like Christ. How to do His Will by obeying Him. Learning about the gospel and the answers to our questions about Him. It guards you against false teachings, false teachers, and sin. Reading the Bible helps renew our minds by helping us to be fruitful to grow as believers.
Practicing the Word of God will show us how to love other people as Jesus has loved us. The Bible allows us to receive the desires of our hearts by hearing God’s voice. His Word gives us direction and encouragement.
Reading the Bible will help us discover the next steps that keep us from sin. Learning to love others with Christ-like love requires patience as well as a discerning and caring heart. Scripture helps us serve God better because of spiritual discipline.
Reading self-development books can also help you find the healing path that is right for you. You can gain great information, and become inspired about new ways of living, of course with God by your side.
Reminder: Before you read the Bible, tell God to speak to you through His Word.
Whatever we do in our daily living, we are to do it in a way that glorifies God (1 Corinthians 10:31). This includes the area of health and nutrition. I know you have heard of the saying, “You are what you eat.” What we put in our bodies has a great impact on how we feel. A lot of processed foods, high sodium, and high fructose products might taste good at the time but later it will leave you feeling sluggish.
I know diets can be boring and there’s always a temptation to return to old habits but stay strong in the Lord. Not saying to go cold turkey in one day but taking one step at a time is a great approach to healthier living. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet, drinking 8 glasses of water daily will keep your body healthy.
Our bodies belong to God. Ask God to help you to develop healthier habits and live a healthier lifestyle. Watch how good you will feel. God cares about our health.
Reminder: We must educate ourselves and strive to make wise decisions about which foods are healthy and those that are unhealthy.
Don’t make exercise a half-hearted endeavor. By exercising you are glorifying God in your body because your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). When feeling lethargic, drained mentally and emotionally, physical activity will start flowing into those vibes to start making them feel good. Set lofty goals, create a plan, and then implement it. If anything, always remember to go to God in prayer. Trust Him and ask for help. He will guide you and give you strength.
Regular exercising can result in increased self-confidence, give us more energy to help others, improve sleep, and have life high- spiritedness. Doing little by little routines will add up. A little goes a long way. Whether you plan activities like walking, jogging, bike riding, swimming, or joining a gym the possibilities are never-ending. A healthy body can support a healthy mind and spirit. Having a healthy body will enable you to achieve your goals with the power, strength, energy, and vitality you will need to get the job done.
Reminder: The reason we care for our bodies is not to prolong our own lives or gain popularity; it is because we value and desire to steward God's gift to us.
There is nothing wrong with taking a break from social media. Don’t expose yourself to the things you know are poisonous to your being because those things can bring you down and take up time from things you could have been more productive in doing.
Reduce the time you spend on social media. A lot of things on there are corrupt. Most social media detoxes are 30 days, but some people do 7 days or even a year-long social media detox. Switch over to real things (Ephesians 5:16). Have no problems unfriending, blocking, or not adding someone to your connection list if you see something that is not positive, productive, and inspiring to you or towards helping others.
Seeing a lot of drama and chaos on your feed is something you can live without. You do not need the foolishness and the toxic behavior of others draining your energy. Try to relieve yourself of these things that will weigh you down and that are not inspiring. You attract the energy that you put out into the world.
When detoxing, tell people that you’ll be offline for a while. This will let people know you haven’t disappeared. Delete the apps and block the websites. Plan what you will do during your social media detox. Try connecting to the real world by spending more time in person with people. Yes, everyone is busy nowadays, but still make an effort. Despite being old-fashioned, I still enjoy writing letters.
Being connected with good and positive ambiances will not only brighten your day making you feel better but to those around you. Everything we think, feel, do has an effect. You are in control of how you react, and that’s what's even more important. Let’s keep it positive!
Reminder: Social Media Detox will clear your mind. You will be more mindful, have less anxiety, better mornings and lots more free time.
There are so many churches, workshops, seminars, and community group gatherings to attend. Decide which one will be most comfortable for you to join to meet people that share similar interests. They are there to encourage one another and to build each other up
(1 Thessalonians 5:11).
Although everyone is on a different journey don’t let that hold you back from the experience of making new friends and receiving a closer connection to God. As you embrace where God wants to take you, it’s likely you’ll begin to feel happier, a sense of peace and so the world around you will begin to vibrate on the same frequency because you are shining the light of God that is within to others. So make sure you surround yourself with all the things that inspire you, and people that support your healing spiritual journey.
Reminder: God is with you every step of the way.
